Carvel Ice Cream - Middletown

This might sound strange, but Carvel has the worst peanut butter cups of any ice cream shop I've ever been to. They're just large pieces of really hard chocolate. Other places offer soft, generous scoops of peanut butter, if you know what I mean. I often find myself having to ask them for extra because it feels like there’s barely a half a peanut butter cup in my ice cream every time.

On our first order, we got soft serve with brownies and hot fudge instead. Not a big deal—perhaps they were out of the fudge swirl. For our second order, we were served what seemed to be coconut ice cream. In our third order, we received soft serve again. While the quality of the ice cream is good, it's still not what we ordered.

I have to admit, I’ve always disliked ice cream that melts. It reminds me of when I was a kid and it would just drip everywhere, which really upset me. That’s why I prefer hard ice cream over soft serve. However, I have to say, you guys are amazing! When my order arrived, not a single part of the ice cream was melted, and it truly made my night. Thank you so much—it really meant a lot to me. I usually don’t like soft serve, but thanks to you, that has changed. I absolutely love your ice cream and can’t wait to come in and try all your flavors. Until then, thank you for making my dream of having non-melted soft serve come true!
