Ching Tao - Middletown

This is a typical Chinese takeout restaurant. We arrived at 11:30am, slightly before the lunch rush. The atmosphere and decor are basic and practical. The service is average. The hot and sour soup is mediocre, resembling a pre-packaged instant soup where you just add hot water and let it sit for a few minutes. The chicken fried rice and beef rice noodles are a bit greasy. The Kungpao chicken and garlic broccoli are decent.

I completely agree with my previous review from a year ago: My wife and I come to this area once or twice a year, and this small yet fantastic restaurant is always a top choice for us. The food is consistently outstanding, with delicious flavors in every dish, especially the amazing crab Rangoon. The welcoming owners and staff, along with the tidy, efficient, and attentive dining experience, make each visit a pleasure.

I ordered takeout from this location. I tried to call in the order first, but the line was busy. Went into the place and ordered at the counter and waited. Wait wasn't long at all, and the food was good. I would recommend them to others.

A very nice gentleman took our to go order. Good Chinese food.
