We had a fantastic lunch at Diego's. There was ample parking, the staff were friendly and attentive, the view on the deck was lovely, and our food was quite tasty. We stopped by at an off time and there was ample seating. The fish tacos with the smoked pineapple salsa were really delicious; I miss them already. We also had chips, guac, and salsa, the chicken tinga quesadilla, and a drink each. At $100 for lunch, it was a bit pricey, but we left full and happy. Thank you for a great meal!
We ordered fish tacos, chicken quesadillas chips and salsa and a pitcher of their basic margaritas. Other than the chips being cold and kinda flavorless particularly not enough salt), everything tasted great. The only problem was our server, “Olivia M”. She was inattentive, had to be reminded multiple times and always acted like she was doing us a favor to bring us things. I still left her a 20% tip for some reason.
The service was good but the food was awful for the price. The rice was undercooked and stale The guacamole was bland bitter. Unfortunately expensive meal. Maybe the drinks are better.
The only stars are for the service and the view (very pleasant, although it’s strange to need to ask for silverware and napkins when someone serves you food). 52 dollars for a cheese quesadilla, a chicken quesadilla, a ‘veggie’ burrito, and 3 waters. The rice was undercooked. The vegetables in the burrito were largely unidentifiable. The pico de gallo and guac were presumably from last week based on taste. If you’re gonna go here, eat beforehand.
