Downtown Bagels - Middletown

This restaurant had excellent reviews, and I can confirm it lived up to my expectations. Among all the bagel places I've visited in the area, this one offers some of the best bagels. They truly have authentic New York bagels, and their variety of cream cheese was impressive as well! A tip: definitely try their jalapeño cheddar cream cheese—it's fantastic! The prices were reasonable, and everything was clearly labeled. I have no complaints at all, and I definitely plan to come back soon!

Downtown Bagels certainly deserves its reputation as the best bagels in Orange County. You can really taste the difference in their hand-rolled preparations. The exterior is perfectly crunchy, while the inside remains delightfully soft. They also serve the right amount of cream cheese. Don't forget to bring cash and come hungry!

These bagels are simply the best. My usual order is an everything bagel, toasted, with egg, cheese, salt, pepper, and ketchup, but I have to say, the onion bagel is fantastic as well. Recently, I tried their fresh-made green onion/scallion cream cheese, and it was delicious! One of the younger women with dark hair provides outstanding customer service—she's so friendly and remembers me when I come in. I absolutely love this place! I just wish it were closer, though maybe it's a good thing I can't indulge in bagels every day, ha!

If you're in search of the ultimate bacon, egg, and cheese on a toasted sesame seed bagel, topped with home-style hash fries and pepper, this is the place to go. I always order two! These breakfast bagel sandwiches come highly recommended.

The food is excellent, and it's always ready for me when I arrive to pick it up. The staff is fantastic!
