Fratelli's Italian Seafood - Middletown

Our server, Maggie, was fantastic! She took the time to explain the specials and frequently checked in on us. Both my husband and I ordered the crab cakes, which were enormous—each weighing 10 ounces—and they were the best I've ever had. We ended up taking some leftovers home. This was our first visit (we live nearly an hour away), but it definitely won't be our last. I can’t wait to try some of the pasta dishes and the tiramisu next time, as I was too full to order it this visit.

We ordered the crab dip, seafood platter, and seafood pizza, and each dish was a five-star experience. The quality is exceptional—this is the standard that Olive Garden aspires to achieve. The service was outstanding. Our waitress,

Wow very yummy and nice Big Papa portions. I knew when the house salad came it was time to “Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride” or in this case loosen that bad boy. When the entree arrived (pork shank) I think I accidentally tinkled. So good you won’t be disappointed. Forgot to take picture of dinner entree. Think I got dizzy lol.Food: 5/5

Worst service and **** Mary ever. The **** faste like dirt dish water. All we did was ask for salt pepper and old bay to make it better. I guess we offended the bartender who was just awful. We asked manger for help. He says. II’m not the bar tender screameing. Crazy. Nvr again. Avoid it!!!

It seems that people either love this place or it's a meh! I had seen this place advertised in the local paper and was anxious to try it out, especially the crab cakes sinc they were highly rated. I must say I was disappointed and agree with some of the other reviews. The food service is fast, perhaps too fast. I ordered the crab cake platter. The crab seasoning was somewhat bland and the roasted potatoes tasted as if they had been reheated and the asparagus was way too fat. My spouse ordered the chicken salad special and it was watery. Towards the end of our meal the server came and started boxing the items we hadn't eaten. I thought this was rude since I hadn't even finished my meal yet. They definitely wanted to get us out the door and we had hardly been there an hour. I will say food portions are huge so you may want to split a meal but beware that there is a $5 sharing charge because they serve salad and bread with every meal. So, curiosity satisfied I don't plan to go again.
