Gold Star Chili - Middletown

The service was excellent - the waitress Madison was always friendly and polite, ensuring that our drinks and food were top-notch. The team at this restaurant is always amazing and clearly loves what they do.

My friends and I used to frequent Eagle Corner for quick and hot meals. However, after the renovations due to Covid, the food now arrives lukewarm and the service has deteriorated. The ambiance may have improved, but the overall dining experience has declined.

We frequently dine at "Swiss Gold Star" restaurant in a small corner location about 10 times a month. Unfortunately, on one occasion they made a mistake with our order but refused to replace it, claiming that we had ordered it that way. My children dislike onions, so it's puzzling why I would have requested them when I usually make sure they are not included. The staff typically inquire about how everything was prepared, but this time was a disappointment. I will not be returning as I was informed that they cannot rectify mistakes as their products are pricey. The cost of gold star chili is high: 5 coneys, 2 fries, and a large drink totaled $27.00, however, even the chili cheese sandwiches did not contain hot dogs. Moving forward, I will be going to Skyline as I am dismayed by the greediness displayed by the staff. I am willing to spend more to ensure my children enjoy their lunch.

If they want a milkshake, I suggest they go to steak N-shake! they are always thick and tasteful from there. I bought a chocolate banana from this gold star location today and it didn't cost, and it was mostly milk and cream, like the ice? not good?

Always loved this place, never ever steered my wrong, I always get my chili dogs without onions and every time they have got it correct I can't say that much for McDonald's.. or anywhere else really, but every time I have ordered from them they have obviously kept that table clean as can be for each order or very precise about where they drop the onions on the prep table, impressed thoroughly.I want chili dogs now lol
