The French Confection - Middletown

I've been visiting this establishment frequently over the last few months. I've been pushing off this review for awhile now because everytime I go, I find something else that makes this place AMAZING and I haven't found the time to sit down and Yelp.LOL. 1. Customer service: Absolutely fantastic. There is a younger crowd that works here, and they have some of the bestcustomer service skills I've seen in a long time. Any business would be lucky to have these people on their team. Always HAPPYto take your order, answer any questions, and make sure you're comfortable at this establishment. There?s one girl inparticular, LEXI, that has outstanding customer service. The first time I came here she greeted me with the biggest smile andfriendliest voice, made me feel like I was visiting a friend at work and they were happy to see me. Great feeling. Lexi and therest of the staff is a huge part of the reason why I keep coming back. 2. Overall feel: This is one of the only places I willvisit alone. I feel so comfortable coming here by myself and I normally only sit down somewhere if im with someone. So, ifyou're looking to take yourself out on a first date, this is a great place to start. Cozy place, great food and friendlystaff. 3. Food donations?: One of the times I was visiting by myself, I noticed someone came in to pick up food donations. Ithought that it was so generous and great that they do this, mainly because most corporate chains like Dunkin Donuts just throwout the extra food when someone in need could be eating it. I would love if the business owner could reply to let the communityknow more about this interaction that I saw occur. 4. Food: Obviously the friendly staff alone is not what keeps me comingback. The food is DELICIOUS. Here are the items that I suggest trying: Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, bacon egg andcheese croissant, pain aux raisins, fruit tarte pastries, garden salad w chicken salad. 5. Great atmosphere Friendly staff Clean When you come in the first thing you smell is wonderful smelling pastries. The staff is great, kind, and patient. The food was amazing and the breakfast sandwich was super good. Definitely going to be a repeatcustomer. Highly recommend eating here or takeout.

Picked up an excellent French baset for dinner together with interesting baked. the staff behind the counter was very helpful and engaged. we are going back there

Extremely friendly and accommodating! And the samples at our tasting were absolutely delicious! Tried a Macarone for the first time and omg ? heaven.

Amazing! The croissants are fluffy and light and the Napoleon is delicious. Best Hot Chai I've had in New England. My husband and I have a spot we always sit at every time we visit. We love our cozy little French cafe.
