The Greene Turtle - Middletown

The service was excellent. The food was decent. I tried the cheese steak and it was only lukewarm, so I wouldn't order it again. The staff, however, were fantastic!

I have been visiting this restaurant for a long time since it first opened. Over the past few years, they have had issues with changing managers, employees, as well as quality and service. However, I must say that our recent visits in May and June 2022 were excellent! The new manager, Adam, is outstanding. He was very attentive, remembered us from our previous visit, and checked on us multiple times during our dinner to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Our waitress, Paula, was also excellent. Because of this positive experience, we will definitely be making the Green Turtle one of our regular weekly dining spots.

My wife ordered the cake sandwich and it was a monstrosity. It was unacceptable. The waiter was great and apologized for the mistake with the spicy broth and removed it from our bill, but no one from management came to apologize. My margarita was weak and tasted salty towards the bottom of the glass. It seems like this is the standard for Greene Turtle on a busy Sunday afternoon during sports season.

I met with several friends and we had a lot of time to talk and we were not in a loud atmosphere. We had a good waiter, but it was very slow to eat to get out. I know there are still personal problems. we will have come back

Excellent dining experience. Great food. Great place to eat.
