Toba Asian Fusion - Middletown

This place is consistently awesome. We order frequently and have never been disappointed.

Tone was surly from the get go and food was not impressive. I can get better sushi and sashimi from wegmans for half the price.I’ll add that I’m extremely polite toward people handling my food, but these ones are just weird. Never again.

Went to Toba with 8 friends for lunch. We had a wonderful experience! Everyone enjoyed the food and the service! Will be going back!

The food in itself is fine but the way they bring it out is ridiculous. We sat down my husband, son, and myself and ordered our drinks, appetizers, and food all at the same time. First out drinks came out, then One appetizer. Than my husbands meal. Two minutes later my husbands appetizer came out. 7 minutes later my sons came out. Another 5 minutes later my food came out. (This whole time my husband is waiting for us to eat). Instead of apologizing for the wait (even though we were 1 of 5 tables present, our server informed us that they were backed up due to the to go orders. I’m sorry what?!?! So the only way to get your food on time is to order out? I was genuinely very disappointed , especially that that it was a slow time on a Thursday evening.
