My family and I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The tables looked dirty, possibly from the night before. Our water glasses were also dirty, with old food or glass rimmer particles floating in the water. The food was very greasy and the wait staff were not very attentive. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
The food is great. I've eaten here several times and can say that the value is tremendous. Top notch chicken wings, panzo, and service.
Hi! I used to order take out once a week and now I no longer do as the food never seems to be consistent . I kept going back hoping that it would be as good as my first visit there . I spoke with the server about the food I would bring back as it was not edible and she stated that it was one of the cooks that was not making the food properly, and that they are currently in the process of firing that particular cook .Months have passed and there were no changes ; the food was still not edible at times and continued to be inconsistent. In the last 5 orders of food my pizza tasted terrible, panzerotti was raw , fries were soggy as they sat in the deep frier too long , and my fish and chips were also raw. On several occasions my order was not made properly ie. I ordered a pizza -2 toppings (pepperoni and mushroom) and I didn't get the cheese . All pizzas typically come with cheese and pepperoni but somehow they messed this up . I absolutely loved their fries but the last few times I haven't even been able to eat them they were so bad . I also loved their chicken caesar wrap but I no longer get it because its always made differently -sometimes it's grilled and other times its not , chicken is different , and the moderations of ingredients vary - never consistent no matter what you order . I am going to be honest and I have mentioned this to the staff already - 10%of the time the food is good and 90% of the time it is terrible/ disgusting . I live in Midhurst and I like the idea of supporting local business , but I truly cannot say that I can go back . That's being said - the staff have refunded me many times , remade the food , very apologetic and understanding . The environment is very friendly , good size food portions & very reasonably priced .
I live in Springwater, so this is the closest restaurant to my house. And everyone knows this location in my neighbourhood as the place that never stays. There have probably been at least 5 stores/restaurants in the last 5 years in that location that haven't lasted over a year. That is until Burbies came. Burbies has managed to stay in business for at least 2 years without any signs of closing down. Anyways, the food is pretty good, but if your looking for a healthy meal this isn't the place for you. The actual restaurant is very small (only about 14 tables) but is very nice inside. Waitstaff are good too. Overall, it's a pretty good restaurant, and I'll be cheering them on to stay in business.
