However, after you walk in, it feels very homey and comfortable. 2. Service was very good, waitress/waiter spoke English/Spanish. Also very welcoming and friendly. 3. I had coffee, not much to say to coffee but it was good. 4. Chips and salsa was very good, salsa was delicious and definitely had a kick. They do sale salsa in large amounts to take home. 5. The menudo was cooked all the way, very full of flavor and scrumptious.(was recommended by waitress) I also got diced up jalapeños on side. 6. My highlight is the free desert table, they had tres leches and banana nut bread. I had the banana nut and it was on point. At no extra cost. Overall stars out of 5. Price very reasonable out of 4.
This is my entire family's favorite restaurant in town. The food is wonderful and the people there are so kind. The asado, chile verde, taco plate, enchiladas, Tampico plate, and brisket tacos are some of our favorites. Their salsa is some of the best I've ever had. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
By far the best Mexican food! The El Monterrey plate is where it’s at. Has a little bit of everything. Friendly staff. The hot sauce brings the heat just like it should.
This is absolutely the greatest Mexican food in Texas. I always have green enchiladas with egg on top. Omg they are to die for. Perfect service
