Garelys Mexican - Midland

During my first visit, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. However, on this occasion, there was a mariachi band, and the music was excessively loud, which wasn't quite to my liking. If you enjoy that kind of lively atmosphere, you might appreciate it more. On the positive side, the food was good; I ordered the molcajete and it was tasty.

The food I had was absolutely delicious! The only downside is that if you pay with a credit card, your bank will charge you an additional fee.

On my first visit to this restaurant, which gives off a Mexican vibe, I was disappointed to find it felt more like a fast food joint. We were seated promptly, but the table hadn't been cleaned, and I had to ask someone to wipe it down. Unfortunately, our server was slow to greet us and we weren’t offered the usual chips and salsa, possibly because we were there for breakfast. I ordered coffee, but no sugar or cream were provided. The eggs I received were undercooked; they did remake them, but by the time they arrived, I was nearly finished with my meal, and my son was already done eating. Neither the server nor the manager checked on us during our visit. I recognize that everyone can have an off day, but I can't say I’m eager to return anytime soon.

The Mexican food here is fantastic! The staff was excellent, and the service was perfect! I highly recommend trying Garely's Special, which includes Chile Relleno, enchilada, and a crispy taco!

I visited on Sunday evening and ordered the half enchiladas supremas, which were absolutely delicious. The service was good, though the waitress seemed a bit annoyed that I didn't speak Spanish. Aside from that, the food was fantastic!
