Our server was Jaimie and she was attentive, friendly and helpful that we loved her and when we drive back, will definitely ask her again. She was also patient with the children while they chose and read out their orders, detailed and so personal. I got the nachos with Brisket, my husband got Brisket Tacos and smoked filled Jalapeños, both children got Mac n cheese, Pommes and a salad. The salad had to be roasted for crumbs, served warm. They were sweet, crispy and unique. Both the sweet and the vinegar grilled sauces were heavenly, and on the brisket they were an explosion of taste so good we bought a bottle of each at home to use for pork roasted ends. 10/10 Definitely recommend that you return by car hour!
Best grill on the Southside. We eat and drink here often. In any case, visit the weekday and Happy Hour Specials. I love the pulled pork grill. Your fried Okra is great. The nachos are massive so plan to share or take home.
A popular sports bar/grill with tables and bar. Although we sit fast, we waited almost 10 minutes before a waitress approached our table. We decided the Smoke Hickory Pulled Pork Grill Plate added a house salad as page. I was literally shocked when a single cup of pork was put in front of us. In a room full of huge portions of fried food, the diminutive cup BBQ was overwhelming. I felt like I'd count points w Weight Watchers! In contrast, the two house salads presented were very appealing. Fresh green with corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, beet in a bowl. Drizzled with a lime viniagrette dressing, my salad was light, delicious, with a lot of texture. The salads completely redeemed our meals! Once we started eating the pulled pig, we both agreed that it was really good; super tasty, even before they supplement their sweet and vinegarian sauces. The Flying Pig wins with excellent taste quality of food they serve. In our case, the sample size of the pineapple-pill Switzerland, which accompanied the 1 cup bbq, was insufficient for a $15 price day. After the first disappointment we ate slowly, enjoyed our meals and went out satisfied; without wearing a Takehome bag like most. We will definitely return because the food was so good.
This is by far the best ?souther style? place. All fresh and quickly cooked. My server was as wonderful as the food. I'll come back and tell all my friends! I was so jealous of my children chicken. It was so good. I liked everyone? We all tried a children's game. Thank you for being a place to come.
Had a really excellent Monday night special barbecue ribs. The ribs were absolutely fall off the bone and excellent. The house salad is amazing and the blue cheese crumbles are fantastic. Matt, the general manager, checked in on us and make sure everything was taken care of. The food came out quickly and was served hot. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone seem to be enjoying themselves. It's a little loud on the inside which makes it hard for us old people to hear.
