My husband received child sized portions that barely filled his plate. He didnt do any of the normal entertainment. It was a very quiet experience to the point my husband asked are you having a good day. The worst was the chef repeatedly calling my daughter Sir . My husband corrected him 3 times. I corrected him twice. My daughter finally spoke up and said I 'm a girl. He looked at her blankly and she said it again. He said ok. She got really upset about it and my husband asked him to apologize for calling her Sir. He didn 't say anything and ignored it. My daughter ran to the bathroom upset with me chasing behind her and then he apologized to my husband and my husband told him he needed to apologize to her and not him then said her hair is short how am I supposed to know? There was zero sympathy for calling my daughter, (a young girl) Sir . He didnt care. We just wanted an apology not an argument about it. First time we have ever asked to speak to the manager there.
I gave this restaurant 4 stars because they add 18% to each check even when it’s only 1 person. I don’t have a problem tipping, just let me tip for the service that I receive. I understand if I’m paying for a party of 4 or more. The food was delicious.
Just went with my wife and two of my sisters for my birthday . The food, atmosphere and “entertaining “ chef could not have been better. Thought I would be still hungry after meal… not. Took at least half of food home in a box! Looking forward to leftovers tonight. The dressing on the starter salad could quite possibly be the best salad dressing ever. I highly recommend the Kiko combination meal. Can you go wrong with filet, lobster and shrimp! If you are looking for a place to go for a special occasion … Yamato’s is the place. Can’t wait to go back!
A teppanyaki restaurant where a large iron plate is surrounded by tables, and a performer chef cooks the food in a lively and lively manner. After choosing chicken teriyaki and another dish and waiting while drinking beer ?, the chef appeared! While making fried rice and stir-fried vegetables, he even does volcanoes while he's cooking, which makes it a lot of fun? It tasted good and delicious I don't know why this is called JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE, but it's okay?
I was dining with my friends and one of them had a seafood allergy, she mentioned it to the cook and they still mixed the seafood with her food contaminating it making her sick. Luckily her allergy was mild but what if it wasn't? Please be careful next time! The food was great, though the rice was a bit too crunchy
