Contribuisci feedbackI wanted to update my review of this restaurant. I decided to give it another try, and my experience was significantly better this time. The current bartenders are attentive and efficient. They also feature live bands on the weekends, which adds to the fun atmosphere. It didn't feel hostile or overly crowded with intoxicated patrons. Overall, it was a pleasant bar to relax in. Additionally, the drink prices are reasonable, and the bathrooms were much cleaner than before.
This is my favorite bar to take friends/family too when they visit! Loads of parking in the back. The decor and ambiance is fun! Johnny Cash inspired but also they use barrels as tables. So cool! Haven't used the patio yet but always see people out there. Beer selection is great the food is amazing!!!! They make their own chips!! The Hellgate is my fav spicy burger in town so far!!! All week they have special events from karaoke to bingo to beer pong to poker to live music! They had a great song selection for karaoke and bingo was so fun!!! Lots of prizes and winners! I have also always had great service! The waitresses are constantly checking in! I have been to the other Sue's but this one is more open, feels less crowded, parking is wayyyy easier!
My new favorite spot! Good bourbon, good pool tables, the place is packed. The burger though! So juicy and full of flavor. $10 with a side. Great music great staff. Rustic with very cool art adorning the walls. The men's room is clean. It's Wednesday, bingo night and the place is packed! I like this place! Update! They have Blanton's bourbon here! Hard to find!
Delicious food, amazing ambiance, and outstanding service from Katlyn! She has a great sense of humor with just the right touch of sarcasm. Katlyn really knows how to take care of her guests. We had a fantastic time enjoying our meals, sipping on cold beer, and playing pool—I even won 5 out of 8 games!
The atmosphere at A Bar Named Sue is quite unique, filled with various decorations that add to its eclectic charm—though I couldn't figure out all of them. When we first looked at the menu, it seemed promising with plenty of options. My friends and I had heard great things about the cheese sticks and were eager to try them. Our fantastic bartender, Mac, also suggested the sampler, which turned out to be a perfect choice to sample a variety of dishes. The cheese sticks and sampler came out quickly. I personally preferred the traditional cheese sticks with ranch, but we also tried a pepperjack cheese stick seasoned with cajun spices. The sampler included some delicious chicken bites that were a hit! Mac also provided a generous platter of sauces, allowing us to explore A Bar Named Sue's tasty options. There was a BBQ sauce that had a unique flavor compared to typical BBQ sauces, which I really enjoyed. The teriyaki sauce was one of my top picks, and they also offered regular ranch and spicy ranch. Before visiting, I had heard wonderful things about the ranch. While it was good, I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of dill-based ranch, but I appreciated that it tasted fresh and was likely made in-house. For my main course, I chose the turkey sandwich with fries. I would have preferred the bread to be a bit softer, but the sandwich overall was delicious. The turkey was amazing! It was just a week after Thanksgiving, so I was surprised that I wasn’t tired of turkey yet, but this was truly high-quality turkey. The lettuce added a nice crunch, and I loved the honey mustard drizzled inside the sandwich. I was very satisfied with my choice. The fries complemented the meal well, and I was happy that we had leftover sauces to enjoy with them too. Mac was especially attentive during our visit, regularly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. She’s friendly and undoubtedly has the brightest smile in the room. I enjoyed our conversations and would love to have her as my server every time I visit A Bar Named Sue—she was fantastic! Overall, my experience at A Bar Named Sue was wonderful. We went on a Monday night, so it wasn’t too crowded, and our food arrived promptly. The location is great, and I found parking to be manageable. The food was excellent, and I look forward to returning for another turkey sandwich soon!
