Ganesh Indian Cuisine - Midvale

This was my first time visiting the restaurant since they relocated. The service was top-notch, and the food was even better. We ordered the gobi manchurian and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious cauliflower could taste. Everything we tried here was fantastic.

The Indian kitchen was amazing. I have never had authentic Indian food before, but this place is now my favorite Indian restaurant in Salt Lake City. We ordered the goat curry and it's my favorite! The biryani was well-seasoned and delicious. Thank you for the great meal. We will definitely be returning.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this Indian restaurant. I have never had such a bad experience before. I went for a Mother's Day special with a friend's family and three dishes were already finished. We asked if they could bring more food for the buffet, and they simply mixed the chicken into the goat curry. The okra vegetable was also finished when we arrived and was never refilled. It seemed like the restaurant was not communicating properly about food availability. If they run out of dishes, they should inform the customers instead of leaving them disappointed.

After an evening of playing where do you want to eat? we have landed in ganesh. I enjoyed it. the rice was good, the curry huhn (either the gongora or chettinad) was full of taste, the garlic and butter naan packed flavor and were delicate. we enjoyed our culinary experience. I was recommended that the buffet can be opened in the next month or so and I look forward to being able to try more from the menu. the only complaint we had is one of our dishes, the tandoori huhn, was ordered as mild, but it was not quite mild.

The service is dreadfully slow and the portions rather small for the price when compared to other Indian restaurants. But there flavors were good and they are actually in a nicer and newer building than what is pictured here at the time of this posting. There's an import market in the building I would have liked to check out but it took so long for each thing (bringing the water, taking the order, and to get our check) that we ran out of time. We were the only customers in the place until a big family came in at the very end so I'm not sure why the extreme wait times happened.
