I had the Philly cheese steak, it was absolutely delicious

Moochies has the best cheesesteak sandwiches around. My personal favorite is the chicken cheese and I get it with provolone instead of American cheese. The jalapeño sauce is amazing--I eat it on the sandwich and fries. I was In Philadelphia with a friend and we drove 30 minutes to go to one of the famous cheesesteak shops. After eating our sandwiches, my friend and I both said Moochies is much better.

It was so good! I got the 6” cheesesteak with mushrooms and peppers, with cheese curds as the side. It was very delicious. The spicy fry sauce was perfect for dipping the sandwich and the cheese curds in. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and food was tasty.

Finally decided to try this place out since I’ve heard such good things over the years. I was disappointed to say the least, the prices are outrageous for what you get. We paid nearly $12 for one six inch meatball sub. The restaurant was nearly empty yet it still took 15 minutes for them to get our one sub to us. When it finally came it was wrapped in so many layers it was reminiscent of Russian nesting dolls. After opening, the layers made sense because they added so much sauce it was no longer … – show

The food and service is always so much better at this location. I have had so many problems with the 2121 State St facility.
