The Goose Gander - Midway

I waited over 40 minutes at 1:30 on Saturday for a table on the terrace. During this time, there were 4 empty tables on the terrace that remained uncleared for the entire waiting period, and a 5th table was only cleared in the last 30 minutes. Multiple employees made numerous trips to the tables without clearing them, including the hostess who stopped to chat with a customer about their dog instead of seating waiting customers. While I am usually patient and understanding when restaurants are busy, this was a clear example of inefficiency and neglect by the staff.

This was our party of four's first visit to the restaurant. Each of us ordered something different from the menu and we were all impressed with our meals - they were all delicious. My mushroom burger was large, juicy, and full of flavor. The fried Brussels sprouts were cooked just right. I left feeling satisfied and content. The cozy fireplace added a nice touch on a chilly day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My partner and I took a drive from Lexington to enjoy a beautiful day. Grey Goose was one of our favorite restaurants in Lexington before it closed. We ordered two appetizers, the pesto pizza, and three drinks for $70. The drinks were too expensive, so we will skip them next time. Paying $10 for a beer is just too much, regardless of inflation. The pizza was delicious as expected. Next time, I will skip the salad as the dressing was not very good, tasting like cheap store-bought brands. Overall, we now know what to order and what to avoid. The service was good, although the $10 beer took almost 10 minutes to be picked up at the bar even though it was not a busy night. We may return sometime, but we are not in a rush to do so.

It was amazing, I love a smaller personable place and this place was it. if they are looking for something where they can enjoy a drink and their ability to have a talk, check it out. bartender was great, eating was amazing and make sure that they fries oh mann yum!

I liked this place. I had the beer cheese app and the meatloaf. Both were really good. No complaints about service or atmosphere. They also have a pretty well stocked bar if you are into that.
