This is a hidden gem in the district polanco, mexico city, the name is perfect for this unique restaurant. we were invited by a friend, the place was a pleasant surprise, extremely good customer service and authentic Mexican food. we had a firm., there are art paintings around the restaurant for them to buy - if they are interested. great ambiente, we just need to figure out how we'll come back at the next visit to Mexico City. highly recommended for people who love great eating and want something private sphere, unique concept.
As the name says, this place is a secret. Previously only a place of reservation that has now opened, it is doors to go intos. cochinillo is an outstanding plate, and they have created many spanish speacialty dishes with skill and care.
We were taken there by a close friend who had visited the restaurant several times before. the place is intimate and beautifully decorated, in a renovated elegant old house typical of the opposite of polanco. we sat in the covered terrace next to the well....We shared two appetizers, both were really excellent, the mushes and the salmon star. then I had an oblate suppe that was excellent. for a main course I had the grilled otopus, beautifully presented and prepared. my wife enjoyed a wonderful thunfish and my friend of the laughs about delicious sweet potatoes. we shared a dessert, a kind of chocolate cake filled with minze chocolate (delicious, but I was too full to have more than one piece.) it came with rosmarineis! the chief came out to welcome us. the wine list is cheap.
Super recomendado! servicio, sabores, todo increíble!
