I went there for breakfast and had chilaquiles divorciados wich is with to different sauces green and red the put it fried eggs on the top. Just delicious. And amazing dish. To drink I ordered an orange juice with maracuya wich was great too. Service is so kind and fast.
My sons and I were craving some pastrami sandwiches and decided to give Klein’s a try. It’s a little dry, and not too plentiful on your sandwich. Meh! Same with the corned beef. Service is slow. I would not go too far out of my way.
I have passed by Kleins many times in the Palanco barrio inMexico City. I finally tired it. I thought, a Jewish deli in CDMX? why not. it is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. the portions are huge, the food really good and the majority of the menu is Mexican, with a few Jewish style dishes. and finally there is great people watching. how can you go wrong ??? a winner!!!!
Right in the middle of president Masaryk avenue (very expensive location), this restaurant is not very expensive (my tab was around 300 pesos 15 usd for the while foid in the photo). Very tasty, is was not very full when I went (around 20 pm in a week day). The staff qas a little unprepaired, i think that the server that attended to me and the cashier was on training. Good restaurant with good mexican food.
We always come here when we visit Mexico. It's an unpretentious old-fashioned diner. We love the fresh juices (orange and papaya is my favourite), fresh fruit, enchiladas with mole, chilaquiles verdes, flautas (crispy tacos filled with chicken) or classic pancakes if that's your thing.
