The food in my opinion is good but if your mood is ruined by the staff and the bad service. Your dinner outing is ruined. I went there to eat and while I was waiting for my food and was taking a selfie and pics of the surroundings. Who doesn 't post where you are at on social media these days? A heavy set woman came to tell me they do not allow people taking pictures in the restaurant. .....??!..... This is a casual restaurant. Who and where in the world are you not allow to take pics while you are dining out?!! I asked the manager if it was true and he said, yes that is was their policies. The next day I contacted the GM and asked him. He said NO that it is not their policies and he had NO idea WHY they said that. He apologized profusely and said I would get a call and that they would make it right . That never happened. That shows the lack of integrity this restaurant has. Not only they lied about the ridiculous policy but then the GM lies again and just leaves a customer hanging . I read many people complain about their service and the attitude of the staff. I do not blame them.
Friday night and raining we decide to try a new restaurant in uber eats, making a long story short; 1. Calamari wasn't great, but dry although Italian squash was ok on it, also marinera sauce was too spicy. 2. Pizza margarita got here ok, but nothing special. Small but cheap. 3. Shrimp Fettuccine with asparagus, best out of the 4 things ordered. 4. Artichoke soup, worst of them all, was sour and rotten, gave my girlfriend a stomach, I took only a spoonful and told her not to drink it anymore. Also main reason I'm writing this review. Definitely, there are better Italian ubereats restaurants in Polanco, unfortunately just a bad experience, my only expectation for paying $350 pesos/person is to receive some decent and fresh food, and not a rotten uneatable soup. Too bad, will never order from here again.
Mix of Italian dishes indicating a mixed provenance from Italy. Good was good but adapted to Mexican culture. Spicy where not needed but acceptable. Provolone all over the dishes but it was nice : felt like a bit of home faraway
You need a reservation, and ask for a table on the terrace with a view of the park, Great Italian food, and frresh pasta, but I would not call it traditional rustic cuisine, I had a lovely dish of taghliatelli with a porcini sauce, and a delicious octopus carpaccio , Prices are equal to service and food,
I've been to my fair share of restaurants, but NEVER had experienced such a rude staff and got charged because we where seating in the lower part of the restaurant, where live music was playing. Besides de HIDEOUS howling of the so called singer, when we asked for the check, we got charged $120 pesos per person with the concept MUSIC....really??? Well, if it does any good, I'll never come back to this place. BTW food is meh-ish and average,
