The duck and the make your own taco (minus the chip) was pretty disappointing to me. I wouldn’t come again but it was overall worth the experience.
The wine pairing was on point. Definitely a place to come if you’re visiting, but being Mexican myself I feel like there were some things I wasn’t impressed by. It’s clearly catered to a foreign audience (like the insect section, and the explanation of what is “taquear” lol) so in my experience I couldn’t justify the cost, but lovely experience nonetheless.
Wow, just wow. I showed up with no reservation and no expectations. I was not disappointed as the food was next level and the wait staff very attentive. I had a ten course tasting menu with wine pairings, left with a full stomach and smile on my face.
What a phenomenal experience! The food was complex, beautifully prepared and presented, and delicious without being overwhelming. I only deducted a star for atmosphere because the tall chairs at the bar were very uncomfortable for a bigger person (if I'd sat at a table I think it would be 10s across the board but then I'd miss out on watching the kitchen work their magic! . Definitely worth a visit, would recommend!!!
Made a reservation here for our weekend trip to CDMX and so glad we did! We ended up doing a la carte and the service was amazing. Everyone was attending to our table and the food was so incredible. A nice elevated twist on Mexican cuisine. The dishes were so beautiful I didn’t want to eat it… They even gave us a complimentary dish in the beginning. I love how the menu rotates and we will be back for more!!
