As we approached Mildura on on way from Sydney to Adelaide, I called out to Twitter for places to eat. Dozens of responses taught me that the Grand Hotel has a gravitational pull for restaurants similar to that of the moon and tides. Being vegan, tired and moderately grumpy, all I wanted was a cheese-free vegetarian pizza while plus one wanted something soaked in cheese accompanied by buttery bread. We were both satisfied, We opted to take away but there were plenty of happy diners inside enjoying tasty Italian treats. The menu is vast and filled with deals for people who want to order large pizzas with every extra you can imagine. Our order was filled in 15 minutes and was everything the Internet promised it would be.
Always good to come back to Mildura and drop in for the city's best pizza! It's been ages since I was here last, but the quality, taste and value for money remain excellent. Work will bring me back more frequently in the coming months and years, so I look forward to the next time!!
I ordered a pizza from here last night after hard day at work and was really disappointed. It was a Lamb pizza, which is what I expected to see. Instead it was heavy on boiled potatoe with a few bits of lamb here and there. And it was over 15.00. There is nothing like having a bad or disappointing meal after a hard day at work. And it was also nearly cold when I picked it up. I'm not saying don't eat hear but I hope you have a better dinning experience and I wish restaurants describe more accurately exactly what they're going to serve you one pizza heavy on potatoe and light on lamb!
Usually the lasagna is amazing but on this visit it was terrible, just thrown together on a plate. The worst I have ever had from here. It looked like slops on a plate I tried to eat it but gave up as it was extremely unpleasant none existent flavour
