Maya Mexican - Milford

Freaking love this place. I will not eat anywhere else for Mexican food? Wheelchair accessibility: Totally wheelchair accessible. No problem in that area

Where to start. The food prices are extremely high here $15.50 for two tacos with rice and beans. Atmosphere is horrendous, place needed a makeover about 20 years ago. Food was avg at best. Their rice had the taste and texture of Uncle Ben's, almost wouldn't doubt that's what it was. Server was great so 5 stars for that, she was the only saving this from a one star. Price for these meals and two sodas was 39.50 before tip was.

Top notch Mexican food. I've been coming here for 15+ years.

We went to Maya with a party of 5. We were sat fairly quickly. We got our drinks within about 5 minutes of being sat. We then sat at our table with menus for another 50 minutes with no further service until we decided we were going to go else where. In this time the table next to us was able to order and get their food (while be it an incorrect order) we went to the register to pay for our drinks prior to leaving and we weren't offered an apology or anything) so we left and went to dos Amigos in milford and got great service!Here's a photo of the food I didn't get....

I love this place! The service is always excellent.I usually get the fajitas which are so yummy . This time we tried the Mexico City tacos and the Enchilada and burrito plate on the lunch meal.The tacos were ok; the meat was very good but I think I’ll stick to the fajitas. I recommend steak over chicken. Guac is good too. Parking: Plenty of parking in this complex
