Food is always excellent. Would suggest booking if visiting during the summer

Saturday 19.08.23 hadn't been in this place for years but have to say we were not disappointed, food was perfect. I tried the Seafood Chowder starter along with chips, (the homemade chips were the best chips i have had anywhere this year) wife had the Steakburger. All the staff were friendly and efficient. I do recommend and we will be back. We even returned the following afternoon to watch the Celtic match in the cosy bar, Baxters.

The Traveller's Inn is a hidden gem! The staff's warm hospitality and exceptional service made me feel at home instantly. From gourmet coffee and excellent pastries to delightful sandwiches, it's a culinary haven during the day. The food was an absolute delight, bursting with flavor and crafted with care. The lively atmosphere and great music added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. Their seamless combination of the restaurant, accommodation, bar coffee shop creates a perfect experience. An all-around exceptional place that truly shines. Can't wait to return!

We had a truly awful meal here a couple of years ago and were loathe to return (had always enjoyed it before) but decided to give it another go. So glad we did, we happened to call in on 'Steak night ', lucky us. Lovely piece of steak on mash, with crispy onions on top, and possibly the best chips we have ever had. There is a completely new menu and i assume a new chef, the staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. We will be back!

Great food. Friendly staff Lovely owner. Atmosphere is great. Looking forward to two visits again
