2.30 on Saturday afternoon, they were nearly out of food. No scones or cake for afternoon tea at all. We got the last beef pie, which my husband enjoyed. Coffee was far too weak. The interior of the cafe was very pleasant. Maybe a bad day.
It's all beautiful food so hard to make a single choice. Their service can't be faulted either. A lovely spot even when it's raining.
All of the food and drinks on offer are good but the home made chcken and leek pies are simply the best. They're to die for...
You don't often find cafe's like this one anymore. Homely, traditional wooden structure with very friendly service. We were the only ones in there, and took the quiche and chips, and pie and chips. Both excellent, and at a decent price. Highly recommended.
