Super bakery with choice, possibility of eating on site or taking. There are formulas. The bread is very good and the staff at the top. I recommend this place.
After a light departure in the morning before exploring the Viaduct complex Millau we came to this very nice, clean and friendly facility near the intersection of several streets in the valley floor, which leads to the viaduct. It is very welcoming with a close glass front, beautiful display cases with wide varieties of pastries and baked goods including several with canned and fruits. Like a typical bakery service, wait in the line and then order at the switch. Our intake of a frosted croissant, a fruit tea and a common meat cake together with coffee provided only the right start to a day of travel. If the weather allowed, they have beautiful umbrella tables outside and a few small tables inside (although it seemed like many customers bought items to take away elsewhere).
After a ride from the south to see the spectacular Viaduc and Pont de Millau, we went to Millau to find lunch. On the route to the city I discovered Boulangerie/Pizzeria/Restaurant Victoire and we made a quick U-way to return to their car park....A modern contemporary interior awaits with delicious sweet and savoury delicacies in plenty of offer. The cartridge comes and in English he said "First, I don't speak English ', quickly followed (as he ran away) by Second I don't want to serve you. We thought Brexit had a strange effect here, but the lady on the next table suggested he joking. He smiled and continued to engage in conversation and recommend the formal of the day, which was a spear (broschettes) from Beef with paprika and soot accompanied by salad and domestic frying. The meal was deliciously made home with Pommes, no McCains in sight. A glass of rosé, a bottle of beer, a red fruit crumb and a huge chocolate Macaron and two coffees later came the bill close to €30 and worth every penny. The cartridge then went on to recommend when we had the time, we should take a ride up the Gorge du Tarn to see the vultures ( apparently there are many of them, mostly very visible). We took his advice, but a small detour found us on a very narrow way and after a small change between the side of a church and our car... we drove home without seeing a single vulture. I would also recommend this route as the landscape is spectacular. Don't go away!
Was in the hotel over the street and had breakfast in the Victoire the lady was served from the Holland and very friendly decoration is still beautiful and the food is very pity that they do not have butter and jam for breakfast...
