Aloft San Francisco Airport - Millbrae

We had a pleasant stay at this nice, clean hotel with a comfortable bed. The hotel is within walking distance to the town and had a spacious room. We enjoyed hanging out in the cool and colorful lobby, which was great for socializing. The staff at the bar station was very friendly and check-in was easy. I also saved some money on overnight parking by using the app recommended by the receptionist. Though our stay was just for one night, I would definitely book a room here again if I return. The pool area looked very inviting, and the hotel is conveniently located near the airport with shuttle access. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but it seemed like a pay and go option, so we didn't miss out on much.

This restaurant has a typical aloft style with an industrial design. The rooms are nice and clean, but be aware that this hotel can be quite noisy. You can hear your neighbor's alarm, as well as other noises from nearby rooms. Additionally, the hotel is located right next to an international airport, so expect a lot of air traffic noise at all hours. Even the sound of the big jets taking off and landing can be heard from your room. Unfortunately, you won't be able to drown out the noise by running the fan on the AC unit as the wall thermostats do not have that option. If you prefer a quieter stay, you may want to consider booking a room at a different hotel located a few hundred meters to the west.

On my final night in San Francisco, I had an early 6am flight the next day, so I needed a convenient place to stay near the airport. Luckily, this hotel was a great choice. The shuttle to the airport starts running at 4am, with departures every 30 minutes. I caught the 4:30 shuttle. The room was spacious and well-lit. Just a quick walk across the street, there is a shopping center with an In-N-Out Burger. I grabbed a burger and headed back to my hotel room, only a 7 to 8 minute walk away. It was the perfect option for a quick and easy meal before my early morning flight.
