The stuffed croissants are now smaller, baked differently, and have different internal items which could be okay if the doors opened at posted hours and you could buy them. Just today we tried again. Posted hours say they open at 7. At 8, someone was sweeping inside, doors locked and lights out; by 9 they were still closed and no sweeper in sight ... a harbinger of closed forever? Not going out of our way again to try, sorry. (This was the third time. Perhaps with the two signs explaining closing hours, they could add some notes regarding opening hours. Myself and three other patrons in the parking lot agreed as we drove off our separate ways: not good business acumen.
Thought I should give this place one more try after a really not so great experience. Got here at 6:07. People still cleaning inside. I knocked and asked it I could buy a tart quickly to go, young girl acted as if it was way out of line. I get it, you want to close and go home, but it would have taken 3 minutes to make a 30$ sale and you didn't take it. This review could have been so different if they would have just been kind and courteous.... Not worth the effort to visit.
This a nice cozy spot tucked away in a strip mall. They have coffees, teas, drinks, bread, sandwiches, pastry, etc. I talked to one of their employees, and they told me they bake everything fresh in house. We ordered the turkey pesto sandwich, everything croissant, and a fruit danish. I would have like a little more cream cheese in the danish, but the croissant was so savory and flaky. The food was really good, I want to go back to try other items. Free Wi-Fi.
We love Pierre Country Bakery and make a least a couple of trips each week despite living in Park City. They have both sweet and savory crepes, tasty sandwiches and soups for lunch, fantastic fresh breads and croissant, amazing cakes and awesome pastries. Some people confuse Pierre Bakery with Glaus, but it's important that people know they are not the same. Pierre Bakery simply offers a few of the classic Glaus petit fours and cake recipes that were so iconic basically Pierre Bakery brought back some of the best of Glaus! If you're looking for an awesome bakery in greater SLC, check out Pierre Bakery.
We were looking for fresh croissants for Saturday family breakfast , we googled fresh croissants.. and this is the first option, never heard of them before but we decided to give it a shot.. and let me tell you.. we were NOT disappointed. The croissants were FRESH Fresh, we loved them. Can’t compare it to anywhere else in Utah. It reminded me of the fresh croissants from the Palazzo hotel in Las Vegas. These were even better !
