We made a big mistake trying the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich tonight. It was absolutely terrible - the worst chicken sandwich we have ever had. We hope they consider removing it from the menu. Food: 1 Service: 3

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. The food is consistently delicious and the service is top-notch. The atmosphere is family-friendly and very clean. There may be a wait to dine in or use the drive-thru, but I can assure you it is worth it. I have visited many seafood restaurants on the North Carolina coast growing up, and this locally owned restaurant in the foothills is just as good as any beachfront seafood spot. I have always been pleased with every meal I have had here. I highly recommend their smothered chicken for those who do not want seafood, but my personal favorite is the blackened grilled scallops with their famous Captains taters as a side. I have enjoyed both dining in and taking out from this restaurant on numerous occasions.

Dining in for dinner at this restaurant is a great value, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The hush puppies come highly recommended and there is plenty of parking available in a free parking lot.

The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Despite being very busy, the wait was not too long. The dishes were served hot and fresh. I am looking forward to returning! Also, the staff were fantastic.
