You usually write an evaluation for people with diet allergies to know that Google lists this place as a cafe, but you can not get nondairy espresso drinks here, despite what might seem like a reasonable assumption. The machine they have, premakes everything like one of these automatic tankers, not a real espresso machine, so it is coffee (with almond milk if you want or no cubes. There is also no decaf espresso. I know some of you are wondering inevitably why someone would make so rude espresso. It may be because they were coffee addicts before their bodies rebelled against them and now decaf espresso is the only form of caffeine their body will obviously tolerate in moderation without ruining their lives with abdominal pain. Try not to keep it against them. We're not all communists. While someone else in a similar boat can benefit from this knowledge if you are looking for a local early morning cafe option (vs McD's or DD, of which I do not personally with, although DD's is not like, the devil incarnate... did not want this cute li'l place down either because for what it does, it seems to do a great job. People were friendly and if Donuts were in my medically admissible wheelhouse, I would be here to diabetic, most likely. the more fun way to go.
If coffee and breakfast is something you treat yourself to on occasion, this is the place to go. The quality of food and coffee from here is excellent. Chain places like Dunkin and Starbucks may save you those extra 5 minutes or 5 cents on occasion, or even take just as long and cost the same, but it will not make you smile like the food and coffee from this place. There's a good selection of donuts, muffins, bagels, pastries, etc and also a good amount of coffee customization options. I have yet to try their breakfast sandwiches but they look excellent as well. I have enjoyed everything I've tried so far. If you're concerned about cost, everything is priced very well and nearly in line with the likes of Dunkin and typically cheaper than Starbucks in most aspects. Ordering is quick from my experiences here. Disclaimer: I haven't tried every food item yet but I am certainly working on it. If I could leave one suggestion here. I think some more pictures of the menus or even a complete PDF menu of year round items would be a good addition to the website or Google maps.
Cute donut shop with cow print seats and wooden tables. Clean and cool space to enjoy a classic donut. I love a classic donut shop with nothing crazy just really good donuts. Easy parking and donuts available later in the day as well.
Such a wonderful local place! Excellent and delicious pastries, and creative donut flavors on special. Of course they also have your classics, and they also have bagels and breakfast sandwiches too. The breakfast sandwiches are very delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. We love coming here!!
I visited the new bright and spacious location in Millis (there's also the original, long-standing spot on 1A in Walpole) and had a quick egg and cheese sandwich. The chocolate donut was a bit dry and could have used more glaze, but I might be being overly critical. Everything is made in-house. The coffee was served hot. The kids devoured the large muffins. We'll definitely return if we're in need of a quick breakfast.
