Criollo's Latin Cuisine - Millville

I've visited this restaurant twice, and I've enjoyed both experiences! The tripleta is really tasty and loaded with pernil. I also appreciate that they let you customize it however you like, which I think is a nice touch. The alcapurrias were good, but the meat could have used a bit more seasoning, and the papas rellenas definitely needed some salt. The mofongo and carne frita had great flavor, and I would definitely order them again.

The Mofo Loco Plate was quite disappointing. It was a chaotic presentation. The mayo and ketchup should have been served on the side, rather than slathered all over the dish. What I received was a soggy mix of onion rings, mozzarella sticks, fries, and mofongo balls drenched in that unappetizing mayo and ketchup combination. The mofongo itself lacked any flavor at all—where were the garlic and onions? The pork was flavorless as well, completely overwhelmed by the terrible sauce on top. This dish needs improvement or should be removed from the menu entirely.

As a long-time loyal customer, I called at 4:15 PM to check if they were still taking orders since they close at 5 PM. The woman who answered the phone had a really bad attitude, even though I was being polite. If she didn't want to take my order, she could have simply said so. Unfortunately, you've lost a loyal customer today.
