Tim's Lighthouse Seafood Buffet And Country Cookin'

This was our first time visiting this restaurant we drove about 40 minutes to get there on a Saturday and arrived by 5 PM. We probably waited about 30 minutes to get a seat and there were six of us. The food was good, but the service was really quite poor and this soured our experience. I think a little better organization could help this restaurant a lot, I know they are trying hard and I do appreciate their effort. It is a buffet and they wanted us to take a new plate every time we went, but yet there was nobody that would clean our table of the old plates so we had them stacked up all over the place. They appeared not to have know a lot of staff, but I did notice the two staff members talking rather than going around to the tables and taking care of dishes . I think a solution for them would to have a place we could have dropped our plates off at a table as we went back to the buffet. I would’ve gladly taken my dirty plate and dropped it on a table so my place where I was eating was not so cluttered. It is really difficult to eat when you have piles of dirty plates around you. Also having a dedicated person to pick up dirty plates would be helpful.As we got there we were in line thinking we were putting our name down to get in line for a table. The line is to pay and then you wait for your table after you’ve paid so that is why it takes so long just to wait in line to put your name down. If you have multiple people in your party, make sure they’re all in line so they can pay for their bill as they get to the front of the line. If you have over 16 in your party, you can make reservations prior to coming.

The fish was amazing! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! We didn't have to wait for the bar to be refilled, everything was hot and fresh.

With 3 different buffets to choose from and priced accordingly with good food and service, you can't go wrong.

Definitely a miss. We went for the seafood buffet but I should 've turned around when I saw who the majority of diners were. Food was just ok, seafood selection was mediocre. Too many people for such a small buffet area. Won 't be back.Edit to say: stereotypes aren 't racism. Your food sucked point, blank, period. But it caters to majority of your customers.

This was my first time coming to this restaurant. For the amount of money I paid I could’ve went to Ole Times or Golden Corral and ate better. The food was hot and fresh, but tastes AWFUL!The Waitress was Great. I would recommend anyone to try it themselves.
