From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, which was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. I started my meal with the green onion pancakes, which were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pancakes had a delicate texture and a subtle onion flavor that was enhanced by the accompanying dipping sauce. They were a great start to the meal and left me eagerly anticipating the rest of the dishes. Next up was the Chicken Chow Mang, which was simply divine. The dish consisted of tender pieces of chicken, stir-fried with vegetables in a rich and savory sauce. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. It was a truly delicious and satisfying dish. The Chicken Chilli was another standout dish. The chicken was cooked in a spicy, tangy sauce that was bursting with flavor. The dish had just the right amount of heat, and the chicken was perfectly tender and juicy. The sauce was deliciously addictive, and I found myself savoring every last bite. Finally, I tried the beef broccolis, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. The sauce was rich and savory, and it tied the dish together perfectly. It was a great way to balance out the spicier dishes and provided a satisfying and comforting end to the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend Darda Seafood Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive. Whether you're a fan of seafood or just looking for some delicious Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
The food was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend opting for the house-made noodles instead of the factory-made ones for the chow mein or beef noodle soup. We tried both types, and the homemade noodles were definitely more flavorful. The orange chicken and Mongolian beef were both scrumptious. The beef noodle soup took me back to Taipei; it was almost just as good. The fried rice was decent, but nothing special. The service was quite good as well.
1. Cumin lamb 2. Snow peas stir-fried with garlic 3. Fresh steamed whole fish in a soy sauce and ginger base 4. Hand-pulled noodle chow mein And don't miss out on their beef noodle soup, which is perfect for a chilly winter morning. The soup features a classic Chinese broth infused with five spice. The spacious tables are great for family gatherings, and the prices offer excellent value for money. There's plenty of parking within a large plaza that also has many Asian stores and markets. This restaurant is definitely a must-try in the Bay Area!
The restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine with a wide variety of delicious dishes. I highly recommend visiting this place repeatedly with your family and friends!
My first meal at Darda was 30 years ago and I frequented often. I don’t come as often nowadays but stopped by this weekend and it’s still as good as I remember! Note they don’t serve pork and I think they serve halal. And the portions are LARGE for the price compared to a lot of chinese restaurants. Braised beef noodle can come with thick round or flat rice noodles. I chose round but I think flat might be better next time. Beef was tasty but a few pieces were on the leaner side. Fish with snow peas and water cress was excellent. Fish clearly from frozen, not fresh, but still good. Favorite is the three flavor dried rice, which had chicken, beef, and shrimp. Very good!
