Best for vegetarians who want to try out east Asian food. The food is EXCELLENT!!!! Beware, the quantity is toooo much. I had their entree for the entire day. I forgot the name but it was some sort of a fried rice which was out of the world!!!! I had a great appetizers as well. It was like sushi but with lettuce on the outside instead of seaweed.
I love the decorations and interior design. Appreciate the outdoor seating. Their service is really quick during lunch hour. The place is really crowded, so get a reservation if you can. However, the Bun Hue is ok for me
Very friendly service with lots of smiles. Clean restaraunt. The food was flavorful and the perfect temperature. A lot of places turn eggplant into mush; Green Barn did a good job of cooking it right. I left full but not feeling bloated.
There was a time when we got here and decided to get grub elsewhere, since we didn't find this place appetizing. I can't think why! Anyway we came back here a few months later and all is well. Very cheerful place, in terms of service staff and ambience. The decor is carefully put together, with attention to detail. And when the food comes out, you want to chomp on it right away. We got the Kung Pao and the farm-fresh veggie sandwich with curly fries. The food looks incredibly fresh, wholesome, and appetizing. The usually questionable nature of vegetarian food in places that are not purely vegetarian, especially in Asian places, is not there. The curly fries were devoured in minutes. The sandwich went next, brimming with a bunch of fresh ingredients. The Kung Pao was interesting. It was good, but just a tad strange in its taste, perhaps because of the purely vegetarian nature of preparation? The price to pay for taking a dish completely out of its cultural and geographical context I suppose. The details include even the bill coming out on a wooden slab. A meal well-enjoyed. Wholesome and beautiful experience!
