I ordered the passion fruit Yakult drink because it sounded intriguing, and I love Yakult. The drink was made with fresh pressed juice and included the passion fruit seeds. The passion fruit was very sour but I didn't mind. The seeds added an interesting texture to the drink, providing a crispy element to chew on. My only complaint was that the sourness of the passion fruit overpowered the taste of the Yakult, so I couldn't taste it at all. It was an interesting combination, but next time I would try something else.
Whenever I visit this restaurant, I always order the fresh Taro Latte and it's always worth it! I know it may seem strange to judge a place based on just one drink, but for me, no one else makes it quite like Yi Catch. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking nearby. The service is quick and efficient, thanks to their number/speaker system that alerts customers when their order is ready. I did try another seasonal drink once, but it wasn't to my liking, so I always stick to my Taro Latte. I prefer my drinks not too sweet, so I usually ask for 50% sugar, although even that can sometimes be too much. The Taro Latte consists of sweet milk with fresh taro bits, and I recently noticed they have the option to add mini taro balls for an additional 75 cents. While the balls don't have much flavor, they add a nice chewy texture to the drink. I do wish they offered customizable ice levels like some other places, but despite that, this remains my go-to spot for a delicious sweet treat!
We were given the incorrect drink, but even though it was a different tea than what we had originally ordered, it still tasted good. The service was quick and the restaurant was not overly busy.
Love the great selection! the new pfirsich drinks are really delicious.
Happened to be in the Milpitas Square area and great to see a Yi Fang, they're the best tea chain around. Only fresh fruit, the best tea leaves, no fructose (they use cane sugar), and real milk (instead of non-dairy powder). Sugar cane green tea (no extra sugar) is always a lovely green color, authentic sugar cane puree, and not bitter. Also usually get a black milk tea or oolong milk tea and never disappoints.
