I got the tiniest bangus to go with my bangusilog. I finished that in 2 bites. Disappointed!
Anthony and Jemm the owners are far from regular business owners . They are kindest, compassionate down to earth couple. We ordered few dishes and groceries for free delivery . He sent us 4 bowls of arroz Caldo for free as well. Who in this neighborhood would extend kindness and good heart ! Thanks AJ.We will always patronize your restaurant. The arrow caldo warmed the family tummies. So yummy and delicious. Good bless your heart.
Purchased here last night and this was what we got. Lumpia was dark brown. It looked liked it was fried in very very old oil. I get you get this for free if you purchase $30 or more. But if the quality looks like that then dont give it free anymore. Pricing also doesn’t match the quantity you get. The crispy lechon kawali (also dark brown in colour) was priced at $13.99 but the amount you get is a mere handful. It also comes with pickled papaya which tasted old and awful! Grilled Chicken Inasal and purple yam dessert were good. But the quantity again doesn’t match the price. I hope AJS does better in the future. This is not an attempt to talk bad about this restaurant. I get the pandemic hit the restaurant industry pretty hard. However, this post is not about that. It’s about asking AJS to do better in serving quality food.
Beautiful authentic place with very respectful and accommodating owners. The Tapsilog court is as authentic as it can get, with aromas that remind of a Sunday, in your grandparent house and eating breakfast with the whole family.
