I guess MILTON MONTANA is doing so good that THE MANAGER CAN THROW OUT A FAMILY OF SIX for trying to make a point. We weren’t a rough group of drunken people! We weren’t throwing food, we’d JUST SAT DOWN! I’m not surprised..not really…we used to go to this location once a week, but since this older, female manager came into play, we’ve noticed the QUALITY OF SERVICE AND STAFF GOING DOWN …AND SHE IS WHY…AFTER ALL, if the MANAGER IS RUDE AND IGNORANT, WHO DO YOU THINK SHE IS GONNA HIRE!? We go maybe once a year now, but no more! Eating out is expensive now! So, why risk having your day out ruined and WASTING your money by going here?
We used to eat at the Milton Montana 's a couple times a month. That was years ago. When the product service start to tank, we stopped going. But every year we 'd hope things changed and give it another try, always only to be disappointed once again. Tonight was our retry and it was all for nothing. My wife and I ordered the ribs wings and I could not believe how tough the ribs were. For a restaurant that advertises fall off the bone ribs, what a joke. I told the manager about how bad the ribs were and her response was I know . She blamed the supplier in Alberta not delivering product so they had to order elsewhere. What a pitiful excuse (and bad food). On top of that the service was really slow, waited 30 minutes for drinks. The waiter said 3 servers were no shows and the manager had to run the bar. Farewell to Montanas once again.
We visited this restaurant for an early dinner on May 23rd. Our server, Katir, was very unpleasant from the beginning. She didn't smile and it was clear she didn't enjoy her job. She didn't greet us, which didn't make us feel welcome at all. We ordered four full meals for my wife, myself, and our two small children. My 10oz sirloin, which I ordered medium, was very overcooked and tough. I was never offered any steak sauce or Tabasco, and no one checked to see if everything was okay. After 20 minutes, they rushed us to pay and didn't even ask if we needed boxes for our children's leftovers. This restaurant does not meet the same standard as the Montana restaurants we are used to. We were very disappointed with Milton Montana Restaurant and do not recommend it. The neighboring Lone Star restaurant is the clear winner in all aspects.
Staff here is very friendly, food is great and freshly made, love their warm sugar donut deserts with caramel, one of the best deserts in the GTA.
I have visited many Montana's locations and I am impressed with their menu. One server in particular caught my eye - Ursula. Her name is as unique as her exceptional service. Ursula is always smiling and goes above and beyond to make great recommendations when I'm undecided. She always anticipates when I need a coffee refill or reheating. I always feel like family when I visit, as do any guests I bring along. Thank you Ursula for always welcoming me with a friendly smile!
