The Hen and the Roost - Milton

While I enjoy supporting and visiting family-owned establishments, I am also very critical of them.

I tried this restaurant last year and ordered some soups and sandwiches. I was not impressed, as one of the sandwiches had so much horseradish that it made me cry.

Looking for coffee, beer, or cocktails? How about breakfast, brunch, or tapas? The Hen and The Roost is sure to satisfy. The Maple Cinnamon Latte was absolutely delicious.

Always a good meal when I go into Hen & Roost. Soup and sandwiches are delicious and can't go wrong with the lattes.

Although I have lived in Milton a long time this was my first time here as it's a little hidden. A co-worker suggest a working lunch here. Food was good and they easily accommodated our switch ups. Hot beverages were wonderful and authentic. The only mixed feeling was that they seemed to be trying to hurry us along. The space is small but there is something to be said about customer service I felt was missing. We were not just sitting there taking up space we ordered drinks and lunch, but I think it was the laptop that threw them off. Maybe a lot of people go there to work? Don't know but honestly not my problem.
