Connie made recommendations and took the entire process to a level of ease and simplicity. And she is handling all the details. I eat here at LEAST once a month. I have never had an issue with the food itself...it 's always fresh and tasty!! Always happy with the service too....until the last few months. The issue I have is with the new MORE card they use for tracking customer loyalty (they used to have a plain old stamp card which was foolproof) and their staffs knowledge of how it works. The LAST THREE TIMES I 've gone in there I haven 't been able to get my points because of an issue with the app on my phone. Today, I finally remembered to ask the girl on the register about how it 's supposed to work and she replied with I 'm sorry, I don 't really know . I shrugged and said okay and proceeded to pay for my order. After I paid I asked her if she was going to scan my card and she said Oh...it 's too late. You 're supposed to do it before you pay NICE!!!! If you knew I had a card because I was asking for help, why couldn 't you have at least asked me to scan it before you completed the transaction?? My comment would be to management......how about making sure your staff knows how to take care of loyal customers instead of just shrugging their shoulders? It was so busy in the store because it was lunchtime that I didn 't want to make a big deal about it, but it was disappointing because it 's not the first time I 've missed out on my points.
I am from Chicago and was passing through on my way to visit my cousin in Toronto when I saw a highway sign for Pita Pit. I remembered stopping at this location the last time I visited and was excited to try it again. I have to say, this is the best Pita Pit I have ever been to, and I travel frequently for work. The restaurant is clean, the portions are generous, and the staff are friendly. A staff member suggested I try the buffalo chicken with bacon, and it was incredible. I mean, what's not to love about bacon, right? I can't wait to stop in again on my way back to Chicago. Thank you, ladies.
Tracy, the manager I am assuming by her attitude towards employees and her non uniform presentation, is absolutely horrible at providing decent customer service. She is rude, impatient, ignorant, and disrespectful. Pretty to look at, but her attitude ruins everything. I will never refer my business to this location again after the showdown my friends and I had with her. Hopefully head office or the owner throws her to the curb soon. As first time Pita Pit-er's, we will never return because of her.
Simply put...the owner of this location is extremely unprofessional, with both running her store and the way she treats her staff in front of the customers. Her staff are always so very friendly and energetic that it really doesn't make sense. I don't feel that they get appreciated for all that they do. She talks down to the staff and degrades them in front of her own customers, which I feel is not right at all! In my opinion, your staff are what make your business and employers should treat their employees with the respect that they deserve. I feel bad for her staff, I myself would not want to work for this woman.
