They specialize in fast food pub fare and their menu serves up many of the same types of snacks/grub you would get ordering off the menu or the bar down the street at the Ivy or Brydens. The main difference being that this food comes in a paper cardboard container instead of on a plate. If you are going to eat here, I would recommend eating in when the wings are fresh out of the fryer and are crispy and hot. We have ordered takeout and delivery from here and often times, by the time the wings have arrived, they end up getting steamed in their packaging due to the heat, and they come out mushy and soft. They have an entire stable of deep fried appetizers that are greasy and cheesy and saucy all at the same time. Everything from deep fried pickles to mozzarella sticks to deep fried mac and cheese wedges. Everything in the end all ends up tasting the same and makes you feel like you've got a lead weight sitting in your stomach. You can actually feel your arteries beginning to narrow as your body prepares for triple bypass surgery on your poor heart. Do yourself a favour and swing by the Milton hospital and ask if you can get a coronary stent put in before you even sit down. Overall, some quality gut fill if you like fat wings with almost too much sauce and don't mind a greasy, fatty, oily, meal. Don't even bother with their sandwiches and other menu items. Stick with their namesake and go with the wings and the other deep-fried delectable delights.
The staff are rude. They were all in the kitchen talking while I was waiting to be served. The guy acted annoyed at having to serve me. I regret not walking out.
The chicken quality was good. A larger variety of flavours would make me more interested in returning.
Large, plump juicy wings available in a variety of flavours! Fries, rings and salads to accompany the feast
I had no idea that these wings were do damn good! Had I known I wouldn't have passed them by for years. Mind you, I only tried them once but they were, by far, the best wings in the GTA. I tried a mix of the garlic bbq, honey garlic and hot honey. Garlic bbq was the best of the 3, in my opinion.
