Simply Seafood And Oyster - Milton

Formerly known as Captain Pete's, this seafood restaurant in Avalon, located near the Oval Office, is a place I've been waiting to try. Everything we sampled from the menu was excellent. They have a unique twist on what they call gumbo, which was very flavorful. All the seafood is prepared steamed, unless specified as roasted or grilled. If you're a cheese lover, this is definitely the spot for you. The fries, vegetables, and coleslaw were all fantastic. We enjoyed large shrimps, oysters, and groupers. Highly recommended!

I had a delicious shrimp dinner, and the oysters were fantastic. I went for lunch on Saturday and ordered the shrimp po' boy. The shrimp was really good, but the claw on top was not as enjoyable, and the bun was burnt. I’ll definitely go back, but I think I’ll skip the shrimp po' boy next time.

The shrimp dish was substantial, and the staff were both professional and friendly.

Excellent food and service! We stopped here on the way home from Destin and that was the best seafood we had on vacation!

Usual start up delays but staff was very nice and food was great! Best oysters around, raw and baked!
