This is a wonderful spot for special occasions. The food is exceptional, and the service is excellent. The staff made us feel very welcome and were very attentive throughout our visit. There’s a great selection on the menu with plenty to choose from, although it is a bit pricey; however, the quality justifies the cost.
Akasaka is an excellent dining spot in Milton Keynes. They offer a great selection of wine, beer, and traditional Japanese beverages. The staff is incredibly helpful. When the restaurant is busy, there may be a bit of a wait for the food to arrive. Aside from that, everything is enjoyable.
Food was nice but very different from the Japanese food we are used to from Australasia. It was a slightly different take on the classics, e.g. the curry was served deconstructed and had to be assembled. The seafood Yakisoba was nice, but I could tell that the seafood was previously frozen and not fresh. For the money I would have expected slightly better food. The service was variable the girl was really good and friendly. The guy was really lost and stared off into the distance more than he served customers. Not a bad experience, but wouldn't necessarily come back.
Nice eating and ambiente, but restaurant was not very busy and so personal could have been a bit more attentive
