Crooked Billet - Milton Keynes

Rating: I recently had the opportunity to visit The Crooked Billet, and I must say that my overall impressions were positive. Beautiful family run pub with a really friendly and inviting atmosphere. The food is excellent! I'm definitely coming back a lot!

Visited the re opened Crooked Billet in Newton Longvill yesterday, would recommend for the Indian fusion pizzas my partner had a keema pizza and it was delicious they have a large beer garden too which is a plus!

Excellent food (we went for Sunday lunch) apart from the baked rice pudding which was a bit dry, and the chocolate on top of it was a strange addition. The service was a little slow, and when we arrived there were not that many tables taken, so we were surprised our first course took so long to arrive. Having been in the catering trade, I know the value of staff who keep half an eye on all their tables, even when they are serving a different table, and they weren't good at this, which contributed to the slower speed of service.

Amazing food. I had the red Thai curry and the dark chocolate brownie. Beautiful! My husband had the billet burger and pavlova and he said it was sooo good too! We'll be back when we are that way again
