Had an excellent dining experience at the Swan Inn. We drove from Milton Keynes it took around 20 mins, and I must say that it was well worth the trip. Menu was very simple and uncomplicated. The food was well presented and served quickly, taste was excellent The surroundings were very comfortable and clean, would definitely book again. Many thanks to Gary and Graeme for a great dining experience
Very pleasant first time visit for lunch during the week. Owner very welcoming and accommodating, food very tasty and copious, served in hot plates (to my husband 's delight A very nice experience, have booked a family meal for 18 of us........
Very nice food. Nachos were lovely. Steak was more medium than rare, but tasty. A few more main dishes perhaps. And if the fire had been lit it would have been excellent.
Wife's birthday meal. My wife and I wanted a quiet meal away from the hustle and bustle you normally find in around the city, after reading a number of reviews on-line we decided to try The Swan Inn. The meal and service was excellent, nothing felt too much trouble and we were made to feel welcome throughout. As I had read on from peoples reviews the menu does not contain an extensive list of choice however I feel this pub is concentrating on quality in what they do offer rather than quantity. I tried the Lamb, now not being a massive Lamb fan I was sold it from the waiters recommendation/description, I'm glad to say I was not disappointed. My wife had the chicken dish which was equally as good. All in all a lovely meal, great service, reasonable priced which made for a enjoyable evening finished off by sitting on the comfy seats in the bar area. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon.
