Bb's On North - Milwaukee

I tried their pizza from food trucks at both Tosa Tonight and Tosa Fest. At Tosa Tonight, my husband and I couldn’t stop praising how delicious it was, and we were eager to visit their restaurant. However, at Tosa Fest, it wasn’t quite the same. I'm hopeful that when we go to the restaurant, it will be more like our first experience!

The owner of the restaurant is extremely rude, and the wait time is frustratingly long. The food is disappointing, making this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The drinks, food, and staff are all excellent. Itza ensures the drinks are always full and keeps the bar conversation engaging.

This could be entirely my fault for trying a new place for a fish fry, especially when you have North Avenue Grill next door, but I was taken in with the sign in the window indicating that they had a Friday Fish Fry. I placed the order when they opened at 3:30 for a 4 pm pick up. They didn't even have the order when I got there, despite paying for it when I placed the order. I waited nearly 20 min without so much as an explanation or offer of a drink while I waited. As for the fish... meh. It was crispy, but lacked flavor and the fries were terrible. It has yet to be determined whether or not we would try the pizza, but I wasn't impressed with either the service or my order.

We got the cheese pizza, NY style. It was amazing! It's very hard to find real NY pizza in Milwaukee and this place knocked it out of the park! BB's is our new favorite pizza place!
