Benny's Cafe - Milwaukee

I remember coming here when they first opened and then for some reason, didn't get back for a long time. Everything is still as good as I remember. Excellent soup, portions, service, just everything. I had the chicken dumpling soup and fried chickensandwich. Both were excellent. I will be making a point to come back more often. ESPECIALLY since they have better hours thana lot of places.

Ate there while visiting family. Staff were friendly and prompt. Food came quickly, they were not super busy at that time though. Nice portions, tasted good. Would go back.

The waitress and staff were really nice I just didn't feel my food was that good. It was ok but nothing spectacular. I ordered a pretzel burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was ok. The fries were over cooked.

Second time going to this restaurant and had a chance to be greeted by Mr. Benny himself. The food overall is great and excellent but the waitress who was also sweet and nice bought my receipt and it blew us. I was charged $4.95 for a half cup oforange juice twice for two people each resulting in $20.00 of just half cup of orange juice. I loved the environment but theprice of the juice is outrageous and I will not be ordering drinks.

My sister has been bringing members of our family here for some time now. Her most recent trip here included my dad, other sister, my daughter, her boyfriend and myself. In this group there are 3 vegans which the waitress handled beautifully. Theportions here are large and prices aren't bad either. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The waters never ran drythanks to multiple people stopping by to top them off. If you are looking for a place to gather don't hesitate to give thisplace a try.
