The tabboule, hummus, baba ganoush are all welcoming. The lentil soup has just the right amount of after bite. The falafel is never over-fried. All the lamb dishes are savoury, the chicken is tender, and the vegetables are full of spice. There is no better deal for Sunday brunch than the buffet table here, with all the salads and vegetable options, the soup, chicken, kebabs, lamb shanks, and tilapia, and half a dozen desserts for $14. The wine list is reasonable. The **** mary is based on fresh juice and be cautious about how hot you ask for it as even a moderately-spiced one may launch you across town. A great staff, relaxing atmosphere, and belly dancing on Friday nights. We drive 80 miles to dine here as we don't get the quality, selection, and taste of this restaurant at any of the Lebanese or Middle Eastern places left in Chicago.
First time at Casablanca, and the food was amazing! The stuffed potatoes were out of this world good. The service was good, nothing special. First time trying a hookah, and that was interesting. Overall we had a good time, food was good, drinks were nice. Would I go back, sure, is it first on my list, no!
Construction work made the restaurant very noisy and also hard to enter.
Buffet was fresh and hot. Quality foods- no nasty iceberg lettuce or canned fruits. Had a variety of tasty Mediterranean dishes.
Food great as always but we were seated 50 minutes after our reservation with no mention or apology from the staff. I think a round of drinks or a complimentary app is not asking too much.
