Checkers - Milwaukee

We have ordered from DoorDash three times, and each time they have forgotten half of our meal. We spent close to $50 on delivery, so please make sure to check your order carefully.

I have not been to a Checkers for many years but was in the neighborhood and was pleasantly suprised with several things. I believe I had the Baconzilla with 2 patties. All aspects of this burger exceeded my expectations including that every bite hadbacon! The fries were particularly good as was the banana shake. I will have to make a point to get back soon and no...I was notcompensated for this review, just genuinely suprised as they had a reputation as a lesser level burger joint...no longer!

Checkers use to be so good growing up but now I am lost! The fries are the bomb! The burgers are horrible. They must not be using real beef, because the burger taste absolutely disgusting. It doesn't taste like real beef and it has a real bad aftertaste. Their spicy chicken sandwich taste good, even though it is not hand breaded. Their shakes are good but taste better whenyou first get it. If it sits, it gets flat tasting and all you taste is the syrup they use to make it with. Mozzarella sticksare good. Overall they need to do better. Also the management needs to make sure that staff has hair nets on or at least theirhair tied back. Please do not play in or touch your hair when you are making people food. These people that work in the foodservice business is nasty. It is not alot to ask from people that work in the food business to wash their hands before makingpeople food. Oh and make sure to change your gloves frequently. Please do not have the gloves on for 8 hours. Last but notleast, if you are working the cash register, you need to wash or sanitize your hands before you go to make or help packagepeople food orders. Handling dirty money and touch food is nasty.

Checkers can be hit or miss. After 5pm, there are often high school students working who may not be very respectful or communicative with customers waiting in line. I have personally witnessed their disrespectful behavior towards customers multiple times.

I placed an order today and once again, like in the past, the receipt did not match what was in the bag. Instead of worrying about "fry bombs," the restaurant should be more concerned about getting the entire order correct. It is not difficult to put together a sandwich or place fries in a container. If the staff needs glasses to see, they can borrow mine because they clearly fail to see the issue, even after multiple mistakes.
