Good City Brewing - Milwaukee

The food was terrible! We ordered the Mac n’ Cheese, and it was bland with overcooked pasta. The veggie wrap with falafel was also a disappointment; it was so oily that I couldn’t even pick it up. To make matters worse, the four cheese pizza had a hair in it, and the dough was greasy. Overall, it was a really unpleasant experience.

Good food and good beer. What more could you ask for!?There is plenty of seating here, so bring your friends AND your family!Loved hanging out at this place on a rainy Tues. The beer tender gave great suggestions which only made the hot honey wings taste even better.If you like the place and want to rep it, check out their swag.

On the other hand, the food was just okay. It tasted fine, but we had to wait about 50 minutes to receive our order, and they didn’t offer any compensation for that delay. We nearly decided to leave. The food itself wasn’t anything special, and the long wait was a bit frustrating. However, the service and drinks were excellent. The staff acknowledged the slow service and apologized, which seemed reasonable since they are primarily a bar, not a full-service restaurant. The ideal scenario would be to visit, enjoy a Bloody Mary, grab some curry fries, and unwind. That’s definitely something I plan to do regularly, and I encourage you to do the same—focus on the drinks and a light snack instead of a full meal. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I will absolutely return, but not for a full dinner.

Great brewery with a solid selection of beers. The off-street parking is a convenience. The food is tasty, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Passing through town on a road trip. Ask lady at hotel if there were any good bars around and she told us about Good City Brewing and it was only one block away. Perfect walking distance. Place wasn't crazy busy, but they had plenty of staff on hand and the service was awesome. We tried a couple flights based on suggestions from bartender. Found a couple we like and had a couple. Really nice place with really good staff. Wish we had a place like this in my area. Didn't eat, but saw some of the food come out and it looked really good. Highly recommend checking this place out.
